I'm Mike van Rossum, a software engineer and quantitative trader (and maybe some day a real samurai) based in Singapore. For the last decade I have been focussing on HFT and other forms of quantitative trading through my own trading firm called Folkvang.

I am a strong believer in disruptive technology as a way to progress and make the world a better place. Besides writing software myself, I invest in and work with startups. Main industries that interest me are space, energy, autonomy and anything digital.
